AP - AR Accountant

Opportunity – AP/AR Accountant | Walloon Brabant

A fast-growing company active in the renewable energy sector is currently looking for an AP/AR Accountant to join its team.

Your role:

You will be responsible for managing daily AP/AR activities, ensuring accurate processing and smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing and booking incoming invoices across multiple entities

• Monitoring approval workflows

• Issuing customer invoices and following up on payments

• Managing AP/AR ageing and resolving discrepancies

• Reconciling accounts and supporting month-end closing

• Handling intercompany transactions

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve processes

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Detail-oriented, organised, and solution-driven

• Strong communication skills and team spirit

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and agile environment

• Enjoys a role combining accounting and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting

• Fluent in French or Dutch, with good command of the other language and English

• Experience with SAP or another ERP system

• Good knowledge of Office 365

• Experience in an international environment is a plus
